FOR SALE
Wollensak Series A Portrait Petzval Lens f/5 for 8×10″ 14" Focal Length. Dallmeyer modified Petzval-type with curved field. Mounted in Style B Studio Shutter. The shutter is one speed
(estimating 1/25 of a second). 5 1/4" flange diameter. This example dates to 1906 as the lens shutter says patent pending. The Patent was issued in March 1907 and the lenses after 1906 say patented on them.
Condition - glass VERY clean and clear. There are few scratches on front element - see pics, but these are meaningless given the huge element. The shutter was just serviced by Tom Lazaroff so that works perfectly. Stopped way down the aperture is not perfectly circular, but not bad at all. $ 789 plus shipping.
