The Beach was a portrait lens as I recall. 16" makes it an 8x10 lens. Google is your friend: (there was a url link here which no longer exists) The series B is supposed to be a sharp lens. Matt

Try a search, and you should turn up one or two threads. Beach was a portrait photographer in New York state. The lens has a rear element etched in concentric circles, like a Duto filter. I think Jim Galli has one.
