Yeah, I saw that on eBay. Light meter is not working though, which is the problem the camera I currently have is experiencing.KEH has a bargain condition black F2 Photomic for $220
Used photo Pro is the eBay store for KEH. I do not use the KEH website, as the product has shown are never of the actual item. That's UsedPhotoPro, not KEH. If you look at the link I sent you will see they will note if a meter is not working.
Ah. Ok, well I’ll look there to see if there’s an F2 up for a reasonable price, but I don’t want to use the website since they don’t show the actual product. Not correct. The Used Photo Pro store on eBay is for www.usedphotopro.com, which is the used store for www.robertscamera.com. KEH is a completely separate business, who also has their own eBay outlet called The Camera Outlet.
UsedPhotoPro always shows pictures of the actual camera. I stop in there at least once a week. Great people, great place.
I appreciate that you were trying to help, but I’ve specifically said thrice now that I’m not looking for this stuff on eBay anymore. Yes, I did say that I would look at UPP just to see if there was a better option. There was not any better alternatives to what I have already found on eBay and several other websites. You are looking for a finder, we are just helping you find such finder, if you can’t see that we are take our own time too help you, then we won’t help you.
Bought a very nice looking F2 on eBay in black, came with a DP-2 finder. Unfortunately on arrival, the meter in the finder did not work. Although I would prefer to keep the camera and just look for a new meter, the seller does not want to send a partial refund, so unfortunately I’ll probably end up having to send the entire camera back.
Putting a post on here to see if anyone has an F2 they would be interested in parting with. Looking for a black one specifically, with a pre-AI prism. I may be able to trade an DP-12 for an DP-3 and cash a friend has, but I’m not counting on that.
Ideally it’s in decent cosmetic condition, but honestly as long as it works it should be fine. And I don’t need a lens, I already have too many.
My budget is $200, but I might be able to go slightly higher if it seems worth it. Can pay $300 for an F2 with a DP-12 if friend still wants to trade for DP-3.
Thanks.
