I have a Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4, in Leica M mount, for sale. The lens is clean, with no scratches or fungus. Focus and aperture movement are smooth.
I am selling this lens because it required service, which I performed myself. While I was shooting in September 2011, the aperture assembly threw a shoulder bolt, and the focus ring jammed. In doing so it damaged the arm on the ring which actually moves the iris when the aperture ring is rotated. It required the repositioning of the part (I call it a claw) which contacts the damaged arm. This required the drilling and tapping of the ring which holds the claw, which I was able to do. I used the lens until November 2012, when I replaced it with a different lens.
I am asking $400.00, OBO, in US Dollars, plus actual shipping cost by your choice of carrier, from Ottawa, Ontario; payment by PayPal is preferred. The price includes the Voigtlander metal lens hood, the front and rear caps, and all of the original packaging. This lens has been discontinued, but sells new for $529.00, plus $69.00 for the hood.
