Made of Cherrywood in Japan in a prefecture famous for Cherrywood. The wood and housing sets (frames,brackets and boards) which are individually lacquered at a crafts workshop in Tokyo. The camera is the exceptional result of precision workmanship by expert craftsmen produced using the finest materials. This is a very strong, lightweight and durable camera that also looks great.
The Wista boasts a wide range of movements with smooth and simple operation.
New Wista field camera are nearly $3000. This exceptional used example, has only very minor signs of use (see pictures) and is now offered at only $895/obo. It comes complete with its original box and manual.
