Will Lee Foundation System screw onto screw on filters?

I have a question regarding filters for my RZ67 and I hope this is the correct location for this thread. Forgive me if its not.

I've never owned the Lee 100mm setup but I've recently been researching it. I love the idea of the ND grad filters being able to be adjusted according to the location/angle of the horizon. I'm also interested in the Big/Little Stopper to try my hand at some long exposures. Lastly, I really enjoy using yellow and orange filters for my 35mm BW work.

I'm trying to figure out if I could buy Yellow, Orange, and 10 stop ND screw on filters and then still have the option to mount the Lee system to the screw on filter as opposed to the thread of the lens itself. I can see myself leaving the Yellow filter on most of the time and occasionally using the Orange or ND. Only rarely would I use the ND Grad. It's for that reason that I don't want to be married to square contrast/ND filters which would mandate me using the Lee Foundation Kit. I guess I just want the option without needing to commit to the Lee system entirely.

First off, would that work? Are the threads on the systems compatible? And is there any side effect or drawback (such as vignetting)? I have the 210mm APO, 127mm, and I'm waiting on my 65mm Floating Element to arrive. Knowing my style I don't think I'd ever shoot wider than that.

I apologize if this is wordy and confusing and I thank you for you time/responses.

If the screw-on filters have front threads then sure, there's no reason it won't work. However, if you start stacking screw-on filters and then put the Lee holder system on top there is a very real chance you will get vignetting with wider lenses. The Lee system is really designed to be used on its own.
