Will adding Bromide to Dektol = Bromophen? (or similar results?)

Want to get some Bromophen, but have 2 jugs left of Dektol. I also have Bromide from mixing up my Pot Ferri mix ... can I add some Bromide to Dektol and get warmer tones from this developer? Is there any reason why I cannot try it first before buying Bromophen? THANKS!

Dektol uses Metol while Brophen uses Phenidone which is much warmer working, adding bromide will help make Dektol a touch warmer.
