What's the widest lens useable on 8x10? The 110 Super Symmar XL or the 120 Nikkor SW?

The 110 will just hit the corners, so other than a rare Goerz Hypergon, that would be it.

Yes the Nikkor 120mm just covers it if you really want movements then the Nikkor 150mm with a diameter usefull diameter of 400mm.

Well, if we want to talk about old lenses, there's the 120mm/f:14 Berthiot Perigraphe, which leaves a little room for movement stopped down in barrel. I had mine mounted in an Ilex #3 shutter, and now it just hits the corners.
