Wide-angle lens for Minolta SRT

Hello,
I got Minolta SRT-101 with 58mm 1.4 and 35mm 2.8, but I want to try some wider lens around 20mm.
I was searching on ebay and there were some MD Rokkor 24mm but really expensive.

Does someone know some other lens makers who have made wide-angle lens for Minolta SRT (also woud work and for the newer series with same mount)?

Minolta MC mount or MD mount will do. I have a 'no name' 25mm - ie off brand make I cannot recall in an MC mount. It is wide angle enough it's less than stellar design vignettes when even a single filter is screwed on the front. I think it came my way a few years from the *bay for less than $70.

I had the f/2.8 21mm Minolta MC lens. It was like walking around with a headlight on, but it was a great lens and I really enjoyed it. It is now old enough to be more reasonably priced. I also used the f/2.8 28mm lens. I found the 35mm lens too close to the 50mm and 58mm lenses and sold it after a short time.

Just about all the after market vendors made lenses for the Minolta series. If they made it for Nikon they made it for Minolta.
Make sure the lens is MC or MD Minolta mount.
For a first WA lens I'd think along the lines of a 28mm. Wide enough to see a dramatic difference & not so wide as to be unusable.

I have the Vivitar 19mm in Minolta MD mount. They do exist.

I'd suggest either the Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 17mm f/3.5, Adaptall-2 24mm f/2.5 or Adaptall-2 28 f/2.5

I think the tamron adaptall 2 would be the way to go.

M42 to md adapter is another option. I do that with a russian 20mm. I'd rather have full lens functionality though.

Seagull i think makes a 17mm but i haven't been able to find it.
