When you guys are discussing a new subject, why not start a separate thread?

Just like I did here?

If you ask or want to disciss say EOS 620 you click on the clicker to the top right at the opening screen, "post new discussion", write a new heading indicating the subject, and THEN write your piece.

The way you're doing it at the moment, this group will be a chaos and a wreck if you suddenly generate some traffic......

Good morning, Erik, et al;

A very good question, Erik, and your suggestion is just way too logical.

Yes like new Canon EOS gear. My self I received a Rebel G and was amazed by the weight of it. Lovely camera for colour.

Just purchased an EOS 1 N HS. Which has the power winder added on. Haven't used my Rebel G for a LONG time. Too busy with my A body Canons and the lovely FD glass

Good morning, Dennis;

The Canon EOS gear here just hit a bump. The main lens used for carrying around the Elan has developed a problem with the zoom control; right now it is stuck between 50mm and 70mm. Either I take it apart and fix it, or I find another. This is a very nice have-in-the-car-all-the-time camera. And, I do not use IR film very often, so that limitation is not a problem for me.

Enjoy; Ralph, Latte Land, Washington

Ralph, I have just reread your post and have picked up on the "I take it a part and fix it", I have an eos lens that I need to clean the rear element.
The lens in question is an EF 35-105mm 1:3.5 - 4.5 macro, it's breaking my heart as I really like this lens, but so far I have had no luck in taking these Canon lenses apart.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Dai.
