I used Crone C additive in D-76 with the old tri-x, long ago. Is it held in any esteem,or, has it been generally ecilpsed? Formulary has an additive (Excel) that looks, by P.F.'s own description, to be similar at less cost. Has HP5+ replaced tri-x as the go to conventional mid-speed b+w with latitude? The British 'Popular Photo' touted HP5 as an intrinsically more scannable film. True? Way too many questions? Well, I'm trying to catch up, in an analogue kinda way.
