Samys Camera referred me to Dean's Camera Repair.

Dean's Camera Repair does do CLA's on Nikonos cameras

If it's remedial, Phototronic in Topeka can do it. He does not do preventative maintenance, however.

Do you mean that I cannot have a camera adjusted to keep me from taking an out of focus photograph or stop me from taking a poorly composed photograph? Oh the pain of it! <<wink>> <<wink>> Thank you for the information.

Dean is an interesting dood...

First off you drive by his shop and it is so beat up on the outside it looks like some kind of thrift shop that has been shut down for years.
You go inside, and the same..


But Dean himself is something else! If you catch him when he is not on vacation (he basically is semi-retired) he is great, and a crack up to hang with.

If you are 'close enough' call first to make sure he is there, then drive in. The discussion with what is needed/may be needed as he goes over your camera in front of you is worth it.
Plus meeting him.
