Does anyone know who sells regular MGIV RC, in 10 inch rolls. B&H has a listing. 5000 foot minimum order. I sent an email to Ilford Sales department. No reply. There's got to be someway to get a single 250 foot roll. I want to make pan shots. Currently the longest I can go is 24 inches. I'm not going to try to cut down 30x40.
Ilford should add paper to their annual film campaign.

It's a made to order item - you can usually get single rolls of the listed, but non-stock sizes over here if you're prepared to wait a bit (a few months). I'd suggest looking for a 30" roll & live with trimming it to size - the smaller rolls are likely listed for the few specialist minilabs that output on BW paper & who use enough footage per annum to meet the MOQ. Pearl is usually the easiest to get, 20" & up are available from stock over here, glossy can be trickier.

What length do you need? You can always buy the 42 inch x 100 foot rolls and cut them down.

I am not going to try to slit large rolls. To much for me to handle. I may try another go at Ilford, try to find something that is currently supplied to a customer. The single rolls that I can find are PANCHROMATIC designed to work with RGB LED printers. I will probably end up cutting down 20 x 24. Last time I did this I bought a roll of Kodak Polycontrast, even then it was some weird 9 7/16 " width .

Or the 50 inch stuff. Freestyle sells both and this would allow you to easily make 10x50-inch prints and with more work 10 inch prints up to 98 ft. long.

I think it would be easier to buy a roll of good baryta coated inkjet paper and coat it myself . I made a nice bromide emulsion about 1983, worked great, except for the air bells it was first rate
98 foot long prints? 35mm negative 98 inches long? Pin hole? Beats me how I would enlarge it

How wide a rotary cutter do you have access to? With a Rotatrim of appropriate size & a 20" or 30" roll, it's not hard to take the length you need & split it down to size. Are you aiming at 10x30" or something like that?

I have plenty of cutters, including a monster rotary. Just not going down that road. I have a 24x20 Saunders easel, I think I will just print 2 - 9×24 prints on the same sheet .
I will look around maybe I can find a narrow roll, color is easy to find. Not a lot of folks left using Nord roll easels with black and white these days
