Who makes (N)IR gel?

I want to put a small piece of IR gel in the film gate of one of my SLR cameras. But I'm having a hard time finding optical quality IR gel, that is not old Wratten 89B filters sold at insultingly high prices ($150 plus exorbitant shipping, seems to be the starting point).
Is there really not anyone producing such a product anymore? Seems very strange.

I'm thinking that maybe I could combine an R29 filter gel in the gate with a blue glass filter on the lens, and thereby achieve the combined effect to a R72, while being able to look through the lens. With the option of taken the blue off, gaining a few stops.
But even a good 29 gel filter is hard to find.
Adox offering might be big enough? Or is that only a 25?

I used to use only R25 for IR film. Now I have R23, R25, R29 and R72 and I can flip up the R29 and R72 filters to focus and frame. I like R72 the most, but some times I will use the weaker ones depending on the amount of Wood Effect I want. I only use glass filters and I have used gels.

Yeah I know. I’ve done flipping and holding of filters, TLRs, fixed lens rangefinders.
It’s all good and fine, but I really want to:
A. Use my SLR lenses carefree and handheld.
B. Be able to use a polarizer, shade and split second decision shooting.

That is not easily possible with your suggestions.

I really need a small sliver of IR gel to tape to the film gate, or failing that a R29 equivalent.

I could not get the R23, R29 and R72 filters in B60 mounts so I bought them in 67mm filters and can now use then on the Hasselblads and Nikons.
