The 'Who is using QTR?" thread made me wonder the same about IJC/OPM: Who else is using IJC/OPM?

I use it for my 'B&W K3 in a 2200' system and with PiezoTone inks in a 2200 (Cool Neutral and Carbon Sepia loaded at once, rather like the Septone inks that I used to use).

Best,
Helen

I am using IJC/OPM with MIS Ultratone ink and an Epson 7500. I like this piece of software far better than QTR.

Eibr,

Can you describe why you prefer IJC/OPM over QTR?

Thanks,

Well, two things. I like the graphical interface withi the curves that shows the ink distribution from each cartridge. And the shapes of the curves are easy to alter. Second, I like that I can use my Eye One spectrophotometer for linearization directly in the IJC software.

But, I like QTR too. It gives me the control over ink distribution that the Epson printer driver does not provide. I use it for my R2400 making digital negatives on Pictorico.

Someone replies after a year and a half! Thank goodness.

Bowhaus have just announced a version of IJC/OPM for the 3800, so I'll start to use IJC/OPM again - I stopped using it when I replaced my 2200s and R2400 with two 3800s.

Best,
Helen
