I dunno, but my recommendation is:
- Look at this thread about how the Fuji/Fujica G690 shutter linkage works:

- Take off the lens and cock and actuate the shutter button (you may need to put the rear dial on S to dry-fire the shutter). See if the linkage in the lens mount is moving. If it's not moving, then you have a problem inside the camera. If it
is moving, then you may just need to adjust the throw of the shutter linkage. I show where this adjustment is in the thread linked above. It is possible for a person with some mechanical talent, and certainly any camera repair person.
