I have a Fuji G690BLP medium format rangefinder camera and both shutter releases don't work. Is there anyone still repairing these cameras?

I dunno, but my recommendation is:

- Look at this thread about how the Fuji/Fujica G690 shutter linkage works: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/fuji-g690-shutter-linkage-question.172654/#post-2251639

- Take off the lens and cock and actuate the shutter button (you may need to put the rear dial on S to dry-fire the shutter). See if the linkage in the lens mount is moving. If it's not moving, then you have a problem inside the camera. If it is moving, then you may just need to adjust the throw of the shutter linkage. I show where this adjustment is in the thread linked above. It is possible for a person with some mechanical talent, and certainly any camera repair person.

I saw somewhere that Frank Marshman, a.k.a. the Camera Wiz will CLA the early Fujis. Google should come up with an email address. If you do reach out to him, post here whether he does or not--I have a 180mm lens for the 6x9 Fuji that needs a CLA, and I've been meaning to reach out to him.

Thanks for the information. I'll try this method when I have the time.

This topic has been covered in the past.

In my case, Southern Photo Technical Service in Miami repaired my GW690II in 2017 when I did something bad to the shutter. At that time, they had parts, but I do not know the situation now.
