Anybody seen this phenomenon before:

I just shot a few rolls of Rollei Pan 25 film. I developed each roll separately in Rodinal 1:100 for 60 min using stand development. Each roll had a layer of white residue on it. Not evenly distributed. It was as though it had been unevenly and inadequately fixed. As a matter of fact, I thought I had used an exhausted fixer that hadn't cleared the film completely. It was only after I had touched the film with my finger that I noticed the residue rub off. But no amount of washing was enough to remove the residue from the film. I had to wipe it off by running the wet film through my fingers. I've used the same bottle of Rodinal on PanF and APX25 and TMY-2 and saw nothing like the residue on the Rollei.

Any ideas/guesses?

That happened to me with other films, long ago. Probably it has nothing to do with the type of film or developer but with the old fixer. If it were my film I would fix it again in fresh fixer, wash and dry again, just to make sure it is safe and the images don't fade away.
