Which tripod is this?

I inherited an older (1970s?) tripod. It's very heavy, with aluminum legs. There are no manufacturer markings and I don't recognize the logo. I'm debating whether to sell it or keep it (for studio work), but if I decide to sell, I'd like to know what it is. Any thoughts?

I could be mistaken, but I think it is a Hobby Quickset like the one I had in the early '70s. If it works for you, keep it. Otherwise, um, declutter.

Aha! Thanks, Dan. After poking around the 'net, I think this is a Quick-Set Elevator Husky IV model. Quick-Set apparently was located in Chicago then later Skokie, Illinois. The logo has changed several times, so I don't know exactly when this model was made, but presumably 1970s. It weighs almost 8 lbs. Would large-format shooters use something like this? (If one is already carting around a large format camera, then maybe this tripod's weight is not such an issue.)

Definitely a Husky. I used mine for a 4x5 field camera and med. format. Collapsed to a small size but was not tall.

Thanks for confirming. It seems that most of the Husky tripods being sold online are 3-section tripods (3 long leg sections, taller max. height). Mine appears to be a 4-section version of the Husky (much shorter max. height, but its lower min. height allows for closer to the ground shooting).
