I'm looking for a Polaroid 600 camera with the following characteristics:
- self timer
- auto focus (sonar)
- ability to disable flash
- inexpensive (<$50 used)
Any ideas? I can find cameras with three of the four, but there are so many models, I feel like I must be missing something. I have a Spectra which has all of these characteristics; there must be an instant 600 with same that won't break the bank. Ideas? Thanks.
Anything in particular that really draws you to the 600? Spectra seems better all around...larger imaging area, higher quality, and dirt cheap. I bought a minolta instant pro for $8 on eBay.
Another vote for the Spectra. I can't think of any model of the 600 that has all the options you are looking for. The 600s were mass-market cameras, intended for point-n-shoot users.
Here's a list of the 600 models: Dead Link Removed
Thanks. Spectra is my first choice for instant, but I invested in a grab bag of 600 film from Impossible so that I can practice lifts and transfers. The Impulse that I have is forced flash, fixed focus and has no self timer. Something with a bit more control would be nice. The Polaroid One600 comes closest. It's cheap, has control over the flash, and a self timer. Fixed focus though.
