Which lens fits which shutter? I know I have seen the list before, but now I cannot find it.

Thanks

You asked an apparently small simple question that wants a book length answer.

Please be more specific. Which lens(es) do you want to know about?

Well it is not the whole list, but I remembered where I got my answer. S K Grimes
When I find the whole list I will pass it on.

I was looking at SK Grimes site earlier checking shutter flange sizes, I was quite surprised to see a section headed English Flanges and not a single British shutter in the list :D All the shutters were US made, what they meant was the sizes were Imperial.

I vote this "Weird Thread of the Day!"

This doesn't come close to that award!
Of course, you don't see the Russian Bride and Male Enhancement and, strangely enough, Plumbing and Electrical service spam threads that us moderators get to reject before they get to you. 😈

Russian Bride needs Male Enhancements? The moderators must be good, because I missed that one.

You'll never find a whole list.
I'm sure quite a few of the lenses I have don't have conventional commercial shutters available for them at all. A few probably won't work fully with any Packard or Thornton Pickard type shutters (which go infront or behind the lens), but I suppose homemade shutters can be made big enough to fit...
The ultimate answer is probably a focal plane shutter which is independent of the lens - but I'm sure they have their own limitations.

I'm with MATTKING on this -- in case you haven't noticed, there is a LOT of competition for that category.

But to get back to the original question, there is no list. There can't be a list, because any lens can fit on different shutters -- and any shutter can fit on different lenses.

It's just like cars and engines -- you can put lots of engines in different cars. There is no list of what car fits what engine or vice-versa.
