I am considering sourcing a Metz flash for use with my Hasselblad 500C/M. However it also needs to be compatible with the Hasselblad 503CW - which I believe features an off the film sensor.

Can anyone help - It seems there are a whole host of Metz hammerhead flash units, but I can't work out which are for what etc.

Many thanks

Matt

I believe a Metz 45CL-4 with the appropriate adapter will let you use TTL with the 503CW.

I have the 45 CT-4 and it also works well in both modes (TTL & Computer).

I use the 45 CT4 on a 500CM but only use it on manual as I prefer a waist level finder.
Regards Paul.
