I have a Panasonic ZS100 that has more features than I will ever use A Leica lens and can fit in a pocket. I’ve made 11x14 very sharp prints from it. It’s several years old and cost around $600 when I bought it new I don’t know what the current model if they still make it runs. I mainly use medium and large format film but the ZS is good for what I use it for.
Mine (the original version) has an optical viewfinder that can even be adjusted with a small wheel. Also on the version I have (2017) you can manually adjust fine focus. As mentioned there are many more features than I will ever use. The instruction pdf is more than 300 pages. i was looking for something that would give me decent quality yet fit in a pocket for when it was impractical to carry a camera and for that it has served me well. Sometimes I will take a quick shot while my film camera is on a tripod just to check lighting, composition etc before taking an exposure with film especially when using large format. A few of the images on my websites were made with it so if your intention is just for the web it will work well.
