which bulb for De vere mk1 dichromat colour head

Hi

I need a new bulb for my de vere

It has a 24v 250w ELC bulb in it

looking into it there seems to be lots of different types of ELC with lifespans from 50-700hrs and different focus points which must be important
can anybody tell me the exact lamp to get

You want the shortest bulb life, that way you get the most lumens per watt. If you want less light and the same colour temp, Get an ELB, it is 80 watt 30 volt. It has approx the same light output as the long life ELCs with way less heat. Topbulb.com have what you need, as long as your London is a north American one and not the more well known one in the UK.
