Which brand of UV filter has more threads

I bought a Hoya but there are so few female threads on the front that the lens cap has inadvertently popped off. The Hoya packaging does not mention anything about being a slim filter. In addition, this particular lens has a soft aluminum front and a filter with more male threads would seem to add some strength to that area. Any thoughts?

The slim filters I've seen don't have front threads.
