Which 80-200 for Nikon F

Just FYI:

The 70-210/3.5 Series 1 is a Kiron/Kino Precision lens. The 2.8-4 version is Cosina made. Talk to Kiron Kid here on APUG about them. Also, if the 70-210 says "N/AI", it's an AI lens. The pre-AI lenses were marked "N-F", IIRC.

Some of the Vivitar Series 1 2.8-4 lenses were Cosina but the early ones were made by Komine. I have one in Olympus mount that is a Komine version (serial starts 28..) and it's very good.

Why?

Pre AI lens is a match for the F in term of look. I think if I use something like the F I do care about how it looks.
