with over 100 film photographers at the conference, and one guy names Sean carrying a digigizmo, we have only 50 pictures posted in the conference gallery. Those posted by a handfull of the people who attended. I couldn't be there, but the least you can do is show me more of what I missed out on. I have yet to see a photo of Bob Carnie!

I had my digigizmo there too. But I'd be accused of masterminding an evil digital takeover of this lovely purist site!

I have yet to see a photo of Bob Carnie!
You don't want to see a photo of Bob Carnie. Trust me. I have to look at him directly.

Art.

i know callow and a few others were shooting film, the pics should start trickling in soon.

I still have to print my two rolls of B/W film I bought at the conference.Maybe this weekend. Aggie I don't think I have Bob's picture though.

You know how some people look like their pets? Check out the "Barney the Wonderdog" shot in the gallery.

I posted a neg scan in the gallery taken while on an outing with Uncle Bill. Will post a few more soon.

I shot two rolls. One on Wednesday night unable to sleep I went out and shot some items around my hotel and a second on Sunday when it was breaking-up. I simply didn't have time. Three years ago when I met Bob I shot a couple hundred rolls, and 20 plus sheet in two weeks, one week each in Toronto and Montreal.

I hoping more images pop up soon.

72 pictures, 20 of which are pictures of Toronto taken on field trips. Yet we had 105 to 110 photographers there, and not that many pictures of the attendees that I for one would like to see. MORE people photos please!!!!!!!!!!

Truth be told Aggie, I think people were too busy 'attending the conference' or having a good time socializing that people picture taking wasn't at the top of mind. I think, as this is my excuse and I'm sticking to it, but I could be wrong.

You had to be there to understand what I mean, but there was just a lot to do, a lot to learn and a lot of new people to meet.

Regards, Art.

O.k., so maybe at the next conference the organizers have a little competition to encourage picture taking. Best APUG Conference candid shot, match the APUG member to their portrait, best....etc.

What i want to know is if anyone dared to bring a d-----l camera for candid pics????!!!

Images posted so far by yours truly were taken with a vintage Canon G III QL. 40 mm 1.7.

Film was Ilford XP 2, all shots hand held and unmetered. For indoor shots, such as the Les's printing workshop, I shoot at where I think I can hold still and let the XP 2 fall where it will. Photographs of Margarets photo shoot workshop were 250 @ f/11 or so. I will post more later.

Aggie,

I posted a picture of Bob Carnie which is, I think, the latest one in there. I believe it is titled "Two Hosers Having a Beer" Bob is on the left. (His solarized stuff is truly awesome to see BTW)

Best,

Will

I did, and posted the images in the APUG Conference Gallery. Of course, it was only a little 3MP P&S camera.

If dog owners end up looking like their pets, do photographers end up looking like their cameras ROFL?

But thats how it starts... just a little 3mp here and there and before you know it you're mainlining a 30mp back on your Hassy and thinking a scanning back wouldn't look out of place on your 8x10...

I am finding that many talk a good game of film, but the gallery for the apug conf. and the recent 4th anniversary of Apug show that many here are not doing film, and are just not shooting. What happened?

<< Shooting. But I didn't shoot anything on APUG's Anniversary this year, so have nothing to post.
