I submit my new thread here in earnest hopes of fueling new ideas on where to go to get pictures where there are no pictures. I posted it in the medium format section, but hope that it will show up in "new posts" as a topic for ideas in general discussion. Where to go to take pictures with today's gas prices is the actual question, and I suppose it would be more of interest to the rural photographers in the US, where it costs 30 dollars in gas just to go buy a roll of toilet paper or a tube of salt. Where to go to take pictures. You can't just shoot the same cow pasture or dead tree for 15 years. And I'm just slap out of ideas. Hopefully I'm just not considering something, and there are still picture opportunities under my nose. But WHAT? Now I turn this thread over to others, with the assurance of no editorial out of me. I just hate this Hasselblad junk sitting here, film going bad, chemistry turning brown, and not a blinking thing to shoot. And gas is just too high to do anything but sit at home in jail because of it.Thanks, friends. Well, looks like I've alienated enough of the good people with my conservative rants, and now nobody even clicks on when they see the username. Even though I don't do that here any more. Certainly there's other guys who can no longer afford to just get in the car and go looking for pictures. And certainly there's people who can furnish ideas of changing one's way of thinking to spot pictures that are under their nose, but have not been seeing them.
