There is a color neg that I would like to print approx. 6 ft. by 9 ft. A&I here in L.A. only goes up to 4 ft. wide. Any suggestions? I would not be opposed to, and in fact I would prefer, billboard-style litho prints in sections, but that is probably too exorbitantly expensive for me.
Duggal does all kinds of enormous printing, translucent material that goes on the sides of buses, huge mesh banners that hang down from buildings, output to carpeting, whatever. www.duggal.com
Don't know how big Carnie and gang at Elevator goes, but it could be worth giving them a call. They're one of the sponsors here.

I saw a film [Territories] about Larry Towell, a Canadian member of Magnum. In the film, he showed how he stores his large prints, some of which were 8x10 feet. Perhaps ask him.
Not much help being in the UK, but I have this morning taken delivery of a foam-mounted print measuring 3m x 1.7m. This was done by Eagle Signs in Plymouth from a d*****l source taken by our staff photographers here. The print is to serve as a background in our videoconferencing suite, hence the 16:9 aspect ratio. Cost was £412.
