I recently obtained a nice left-hand grip from a Linhof Technika, but I am looking for the clip (to be attached to the camera) that the grip slides into. I have noticed that there are different variations on the grip's "dovetail", and presumably a few different variations of clip to match. Is this clip a readily obtainable part? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Try searching eBay Germany, a lot of Linhoff stuff shows up there regularly.

In the US, Marflex is the repair center and parts distribuitor for Linhof. You can also contact Linhof direct to get parts.

linhof grip

I have a Linhof Master Technika and I've swapped a grip here and there but I may be able to assist as those brackets can easily cost more than the grip. I have a spare bracket hiding in my Linhof pile I think and it's the newer more square version --any idea which bracket you need as the non-square version is much more common but I'm far from an expert on Linhof.
I bought my Master Technika from the big auction site and it had the bracket w/o the grip included--so we know it's a Grip for a 4x5 , a MT if that matters, and for a 1972 or newer camera. I purchased a 4x5 grip that included the bracket and just removed the bracket from my camera and it's all good--so I still have that bracket BUT the question is "Will your grip fit that bracket"?
