Where do you guys get 4x5" E-6 done?

In a black bag (illford uses these for sheet film and paper, or you can buy new ones), in a 3-tiered box. Taped closed. With the words "EXPOSED: E-6 ONLY" on the outside. That note, of course, is for me.

Lionel, if you're doing enough E6, you should think about sending those to USA, to Sammy's, for processing. I'm sure you would break even for the increased postage after only 4-5 sheets.
Check it out - it might be that sending 10 sheets for processing to USA might be cheaper than sending it off to Paris... they charge only Dead Link Removed.
You just need to see whether they will ship overseas, and what's the postage...

I decided to go with Samy's. They were so cheap, and relatively local here. They also have a nice order form, and are set up to take film shipped to them. We will see if they end up charging me an arm and a leg for S&H on the return trip. I specified priority mail, so it should be flat rate $4.50. USPS provides the box so there really shouldn't be a handling charge. Chrome looks interesting. What do they charge for return shipping for just a few sheets?

Dang man! never had to ship my important film before.

I don't know about shipping. I live about 18 miles from them, so I just use the walk-in service. You might check their website: http://www.chromedigital.com/

Duh, I am bit jealous.. Here the price is 6€, about $8.4 which is expensive! That's without postage which almost doubles the sum :|

One of the reasons why I begun to develop E-6 and C-41 films by myself, in the bathroom. Cheap and I can pull/push or fine tune process freely.
But I have to confess that E-6 is a bit too long process with 10 steps (I use kodak's E-6 chems), taking almost an hour.
I guess that 3 step kits will be much quicker to use.

@Usagi I would stick with the 10 step kit for color accuracy. I have heard some bad things about the color accuracy of the Tetenal kit.

I've used AgX Imaging in MI and Photographic Works in Tucson, AZ. Both did nice work and had excellent "bed side manner". Though I admit sending my film to a desert seems less preferable than up north; considering the temperatures inside of that USPS truck...
