Funny, I just bought some from Daniel Smith about three minutes ago.

I get my Arches Platine from Stephen Kinsella. They are local and I can call and place the order and pick it up on my way home from work.

It's a very different paper. Whether better for a given purpose is a personal judgment call; I didn't care for it for gum printing.

Just got the paper from Daniel Smith. They do very a nice job packaging, none of the corners were even a little curled, all the sheets look pristine.
