Where can I find Ektachrome 400x?

I tried looking on google and ebay for Ektachrome 400x. All I found was a sealed brick of it. I only want a few rolls. Do you know where I can still get it in individual rolls of film? I wish I got into slide films sooner.

Not made any more. Fuji makes a 400 speed slide film you can try. bhphotovideo.com sells slide films.

Provia 400x is readily available and is superb. It can be pushed very nicely, but if shot and developed normally, it gives nice neutral tones.

Ya I know they stopped making it, just thought maybe I still could get a hold of some. But I guess I can't. Thanks for the replies though, I'll try that Fujichrome Provia.

I would get some Ektachrome 200 shoot it at 400 and have it push processed. Perfect.

I'll try the Ektachrome 200 pushed to 400. I haven't done this before, do I change the ISO on my camera, or tell the lab that I want the film processed at 400?

Both. When you set the ISO on your camera to 400, you are underexposing by 1 stop. When you tell the lab to push it to 400, they overdevelop one stop. Underexpose+Overdevelop=Push Processing!
