Where can I buy 1.2mm flat glass

Where can I buy custom cut 1.2mm flat glass in good optical quality? So far I could only find round sapphire glass on ebay but I don't feel confident to cut it myself

How big do you need? If small, most glass slides for microscopes are 1.0mm thick, but there are a few "extra thick" versions that are 1.2mm thick <example here>

But then there would be the cutting problem, so, sorry, never mind.

Actually this is good idea and I found other suppliers with cheaper price that may justify my 'cutting error'. Thank you!

Small imported picture frames usually have glass about 1.5mm thick, although perhaps not as flat as one needs.

Surplus Shed currently has some 1.2mm sheets. Perhaps large enough for you to have multiple attempts to cut yourself, or take to someone else to cut? Not the cheapest of items, but they may also have other options for you. Good to be on their mailing list for optical bargains...
