that whenever my Ilfosol is the color of apple juice, it will develop about as well as apple juice would. Let my lesson be learned so nobody else uses bad developer.

OTOH, my ID-11 stock, made up four years ago, is the colour of apple juice and develops just fine.

On the other hand, when a developer is about the same color as an apple juice, they still don't taste as good as an apple juice....

Dektol seems to be ok when it's darker. But then again, loss of a print isn't the same as a loss of a roll of film.

My Ethol LPD is the color of coffee, works just like fresh mixed. I'm still using a 15+ year old bottle of Rodinal.

There's a lesson I'll learn from you.

Luckily there wasn't anything I'll miss. It was a new camera, so I didn't put too much energy into the pictures considering I wasn't sure how they would turn out.

I've not used much B&W film this year, but developed a roll of FP4+ last week in the stuff and it came out perfectly. I keep it in 500ml pop bottles so it should keep a few more years... I hope!
