I've been accumulating some rolls of Kodak 35mm film that usually comes with cameras that I buy in camera bags. There are a lot that are not in the original boxes but are in the plastic cans. When you have the box you can tell the age of the film, but I don't think there is any marking on individual rolls.
I've got some Kodak 200, 400, Kodak gold 200 & 400, Max 200 and some fuji film in there too.
How can I approximate the age of these films?

Really, the best way is the logo (best with Kodak- they changed their logo 2006-2007ish) as well as the batch number. If you called either company, I am sure they would have the information you need if you provided them with the batch number.
