Well, perhaps I should confess to recently buying an Olympus Stylus Epic 35mm f/2.8. It should be delivered soon. I'm excited!

I heard good things about this little P&S.

Summer 2004: Nikon N80
Autumn 2003: Olympus Stylus Zoom... 35-170, I think?

Not asked, but since then I've bought several MF TLR cameras, and a 35mm Widelux - all used, some requiring attention, all fun.

I bought the Nikon because my 22 y/o Minolta XD-11 died. Got it fixed. Between fixing the Minolta and buying MF stuff, the Nikon has actually had very little use since.

I love mine. It's not let me down yet.

An Alpa 11si

from Karl Heitz of Karl Heitz Inc in 1988

Sadly, since then the Alpa company went bankrupt (and recently came back) and last year Karl Heitz died.

That camera (and the one I bought the previous year) are both still going strong. They are my primary cameras for above water.

I also have a Nikonos V for underwater.
