New film?

This was the book that got me into photography in the first place.

I actually was never a digital guy. I went right to film, and it was all because I read Kodak's "How to make good pictures".
You mean this one ?

But it talks about film for miniature cameras, not real cameras like 35mm. Who would want a miniature toy camera?

They called 35mm cameras "miniature" back in the day, just cause they were smaller than the then-standard medium format.
And before that, they called cameras that we might now describe as medium format a "miniature" camera as well.

Next time I post like this I will have to use either [humor] [/humor] or [irony] [/irony] tags.

All siriusness aside, I started reading my parents copy when I was 12. I wonder where it is now.

"Miniature" = 35mm

They used to call 6x6 cameras miniature cameras as well at one time if you look at photographic books of that period, unfortunately I'm old enough to remember.

And the funny thing is that the digital guys think 24x36mm is an enormous format, they call it "FULL frame"...

All siriusness aside
