I agree. Doing things just for fun is always a good enough reason for me.

Okay, I'll drop it. My goal is to not attack anyone personally but help readers get the most complete and accurate information.

Fyi I think you're doing just fine by pointing these things out; I think it needs to be said, at least for the benefit of possible readers who are not commenting. In my judgment your comments are just about always on point. I don't think anyone should take offense at this; they can just point out that their objectives are different.

Personally, I would probably not use the blix for "serious" work but would probably try it for just "playing around."

Same here. Lacking any test data to evaluate blix, I prefer to play it safe and use separate bleach and fix for my important stuff. It is not that much more difficult and worth peace of mind.
