I just got a dignette for $7 cdn. It is in beautiful cosmetic condition but the shutter is stiff and the aperture blades seem stuck closed. I hope I can get it working. I suppose a 7 dollar camera is a good first project in case I blow it. lol

I found a Retina IIIc with the Heligon f2, everready case, 35mm and 80mm lens elements with the plastic cases, and the viewfinder for those two elements, all in beautiful condition. The rangefinder is bright, shutter speeds sound about right, and the cosmetics of all are excellent. At the same shop I bought a dry-mount press in good condition. Happy camper, am I!

Waiting on what appears to be a nice Argus C3 and a Yashica 44. I've got about 30 rolls of 127 and I wanted to shoot it in something other than a Brownie.

Fuji GA645zi

Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

I bought a used 645zi 11 years ago, it was my first MF camera. It's a beautiful camera. Over the past few years the LCD has finally reached a point where it's unreadable (a very common issue on this camera). Fortunately there is a workaround so that you can set the iso, so all is good except I can't tell how many shots are left.

MY OLD MAMIYA 220

A friend just gave me back a Mamiya 220 I sold him about 30 yrs ago. It needs a CLA any suggestions on who to use? I can't wait to shoot with this thing again it was one of my favorites. Some of my best was shot with it, the Pentax 645 I bought to replace it just never had the same fun to it.

Decided a cable release socket was more valuable than a non-TTL hot shoe on the prism of an F3. Sold off my F3P and got a regular F3HP with a 50/1.8 AF Nikkor.

A canonet 19 followed me home from the antique/second hand store. Everything works on manual but the shutter priority auto does not work, no big deal as everthing else is in good order.

My newest are a Canon QL17 and a Canon VI-T. I paid $4.00 for the pair at a garage sale. The QL needs a seal kit and it is ready to go. The VI-T needs a good professional cleaning and the small dent removed from the lens.

Just bought a Kodak Retina I 119 from Ebay. It was described as being in poor condition but works perfectly. Only fault I can find is that the hinge to the back needed a drop of oil to move freely. Be glad if I am working that well when I am76/78 years old.

I just got home with an Olympus OM-1 with Oly 50mm f/1.7 and a Vivitar 135mm f/2.8. I'll probably clean it up and run a test roll through but not sure I'll keep it. I already have a lot of Minolta lenses and Pentax K mount stuff. It will be fun to play with for a few rolls but it will most likely have to go.

A $60 Nikon F. 6466xxx serial. Eyelevel with a faint line visible in the prism. A *very* faint line. No dents. One tiny ding near the rewind crank, above the strap lug. A short, but deep scratch in the black paint on the back, just below that side's strap lug. Film rails are unmarked. Everything works on the camera. Not sure how the heck I got it for that cheap, and I mainly bought it because it had an eyelevel finder that I considered popping onto the black F to replace the one I donated to Ralph's collection. Camera's too nice to separate it from its finder. I now know where that somewhat early (#742156 - first serial of the #3 AI ring compatible version was #742111) 50/2 Nikkor-H that's coming from Japan will be going. Onto the lens mount of this F.

SRT101 body only for £4! Bought untested, but actually seems to work - including meter! It was slightly bashed, but these things really are like tanks: you could easily brain someone then resume taking pictures with it. The back is a little out of shape, but I don't think light will leak. I will soon know because I took it to Blackpool yesterday and it was exposed to scorching sunlight for hours!

After months and months of sneaking around the thought of getting another MF camera, I finally gave in to a Rolleiflex F 2.8 Planar. Did cost me an arm and a leg and I just sent it off to get a CLA done, which will surely cost me the other leg ... hope I can keep at least one arm to take pictures

The 2.8F is a superb choice.

Consider a bright screen and you'll never regret buying it.

I just took posession of a Minolta XD7/11 for use with my Rokkor lenses.

It's a marvellous little machine with excellent mechanics and electronics. It exudes a feel of quality and sophistication when you handle it.

The light metering matches a handheld reflective meter and the stepless blade shutter ensures very precise exposures.

If I could only have one analogue camera, this would be it.

Shot a roll of film yesterday with an EM that I purchased a while ago and have never used. It's in like-new condition and has not a single indicator that it's ever been out of the case. I really like these little cameras.
