What's your latest new old camera? (Part 1)

I have 2:

Newest Old Camera: Polaroid CU-5.

Slightly Older Newest Old Camera: Yashica Mat-124

I used to use a Yashica Mat-124 in a portrait studio that I worked in during the early 80s. We had it in our Budget Package room - everything pre-measured, pre-lit, screwed to the floor, etc. I was the young apprentice, so I used it daily. The boss shot the more expensive clients with his Hasselblad. Honestly, I did almost as well with the Yashica. Good camera.

True, but, at less than $100, plus it is an old classic, that has a lens worth more than that, heck, if i could i'd bid for one more!

Ugh! I took my own:devil: advice, and placed a bid, only to get SNIPED! :

^Need to use something like EZSniper.com. That's how I got my latest F for as cheap as I did.

I never really read up about those, I always felt insecure trusting 3rd parties doing business! I'll reconsider the next one, and, I fear, that next one, is very near! xD

It works pretty well. Only thing they store is your eBay username and password, at least for the first three snipes. After the trial period it's $10 a month for unlimited snipes.

Anyway, added an FT3. Getting rid of one of the FT2's.

An Ex/EX+ (KEHese) MD-4 picked up for $6.01 USD on that site, by an individual who either failed to establish a "reserve price," wasn't familiar with the idea, or who hoped to attract interest by not doing so. With an MK-1 attached, the drive will be paired with an F3P, expected to arrive sometime near the end of next week.

You should fit right in here then! I found an Olympus Trip for 6 Great British pounds a few weeks back....what a blag

Very nice set! You're gonna have a lot of fun with it.

BTW: this forum isn't solely about 35 mm. All MF is frequently present and welcome, even LF. As long as it is analogue?

I think the reference was to the fact that this thread is in the 35mm Camera sub-forum.

I'm using an iPad with the Tapatalk app. This app doesn't show the name of the sub-forum the thread is in. Only the title of the thread itself.

Thanks to BradleyK, I just received an almost EX grade F5 for a C-note. Has a couple minor paint wear marks, a slightly chewed up MS-30 battery clip, and a small dimple in the rubberized covering below the self-timer LED. Actually wound up selling him my EX+ grade F3P with drive, and some other items for it and $520. Would've been $620, if I hadn't received the F5 (and a standard F3 back for my current BGN grade F3P) in trade.

FT3 arrives on Monday. Last item I need source is a donor camera with an unmodified casting for my FM2n, so I can get rid of the previous owner's copyright notch next to the shutter curtain area.

Pic of the "new" FT2, the F3P, and Bradley's old camera...

Just bought a Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 35 - the predecessor to both the Contina folder and the Contessa folder. Not tried a film yet - only had it a couple of hours - but all seems to be well with it.

Another Trip!

Goodwill been good to me
Canon EF(FD mount) w/24f2.8, 135f3.5, 300f5.6.
Leica lllC w/50f2.8 Elmar

Just picked up a Pax 35 (original model, from what I can tell) and an New F1. Fhew, they're both 2x as heavy as they look!
