I just went over to usefilm.com to check out photo's. At the bottom of the front page are the Photo of the Day, Photographer of the Day, Editors Choice, and Featured Donor. While looking at the details of each photo I noticed the equipment used. Photo of the Day-Canon 10D, same for Photographer of the Day. Editors Choice? Canon Powershot. And I appreciated the fact that the Featured Donor Listed the lens used as Sony. Aye Caramba! I mean this is a site called USE FILM!!! LOL I don't even know what to say.

It wasn't so digital at the beginning. Originally the site was called "Photo Projects" but I think that wasn't available as a domain name, so Al came up with "usefilm," which was a little strange, but it worked well enough. Not so much film being used over there lately, though.

Yeah, the Flash is kind of extraneous but that audio clip from Cannery Row sort of explains the purpose of the site and content (did you have your speakers on?) and the Flash was an interest of mine at the time. In my defense, I did mercifully stick a "skip it" button on the page.

And the poets down here don’t write nothing at all, they just stand back and let it all be.
