I use Bergger VC-CB for 95% of my work. I'd like to try the graded version and thought I'd give Fortezo a shot at the same time. My local camera store has been saying it's discontinued for about a couple of years, but I see it online in "Double weight" still, while Polywarmtone is still available in "Museum weight." I don't get it.

Its just possible, or even likely, that your camera store is wrong. I havent heard of Fortezo being discontinued. I hope it hasnt, although I've being using Polywarmtone. Its nice stuff, got a box in the freezer.

I work in a camera store and have found that 90% of the sales force don't know what they are talking about, especially when it comes traditional materials. We are photographers that mainly shoot film personally. We need to be current with digital so we shoot also. Most other are equipment hounds and really don't shoot a lot. I will check with the rep and see what he knows.

Fortezo is still listed on Forte's website. Adorama lists it on their website as back ordered Dead Link Removed, so maybe there is a temporary supply problem

I would email Forte forte@dunaweb.hu and get it straight from the source.

I've been waiting since August for Fortezo and the rest of Forte's line but the one shop in Athens hasn't received anything for nearly a year. I broke down and ordered online from Fotoimpex.de yesterday. They say their ADOX is the same as Forte.
