I've just bought a 4x5 holder that turned out to have film in it. Luckily I checked in the dark. At first I thought the notch code was TXP, but it's not quite right; the notches are two different sizes and a little unevenly spaced.
ASCII art doesn't work too well in a proportional font, so I'm at a loss to illustrate the code. If you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notch_code, what I have is identical to the code for Tri-X Ortho, except that instead of two small notches on the left I have only one.
It's not "Separation Negative 4131, Type 1", because the notches aren't evenly spaced---the small notch is set further away from the larger ones.
The larger notches definitely have angled sides, not square, and all of them are definitely piecewise linear, not curved, so I'm pretty sure it's a Kodak film. Anyone recognize it?
Thanks
