Hi everyone,

I'm wondering what my camera is worth. I have attached pictures and everything seems to work. Thanks in advance.

Cosmetically it's very nice, which tells me it's been treated well. It appears not to have been used much.

What it's worth, assuming you're thinking of selling it, depends a lot on where you are going to sell it and the audience that sees it.

Questions a buyer would have: Have you tested all the speeds? Do they seem accurate and smooth? Does the self timer work? Does the EV interlock work? Have you run film through it to test film advancement? Are the lenses clear? Has the meter been tested against another known-good meter? Is focusing and winding smooth? What is the condition of the groundglass (bright, dim)?

Just a wild guess here, but based on looks alone, it could be anywhere from US$750 to US$1200 if sold at a shop.

Sold auctions on ebay are a good general guide for value. KEH's retail pricing is also a good benchmark, they are generally at the lower end of the retail price realm. Note that if you wholesale it to a shop, you can expect roughly 1/2 of the average retail price. It's not that they are trying to steal from you, that's what it takes to pay the costs of being in business and make a bit of profit. Some shops will also sell on consignment which may get you a bit more, but you won't see any money until the camera is sold. Depending on what the market is like in your area, that could take a while.

I agree that the camera looks to be in very good condition. The models with that lens are desirable in the marketplace, it shouldn't be hard to sell, if that's your goal.

This site; Rolleiclub, is a good source of information to help you identify the specific model.

The money value of a camera is the price seller and buyer agree on...

Eboink prices range from 500 to a 1200+clams
and if you have filters and the sunshade and other goodies
CLA add extra potatoes rocks, seaweed and a burlap bag ...
looks like a nice camera for a clambake.
you might look at past SOLD auctions too, might be a best time
of year to see good prices &c .. clambakes are best in the summertime.

I agree, a Rolleiflex is a nice camera for a clam bake, we also had potato’s.

Figures...

I especially like the “pictures speak for themselves”.

It seems like nobody here pm’d an offer to buy.

$1,495 for a nice doorstop, it is a bit too much.... For that price, unless there is clear and detailed description of the camera by the seller (CLAed or not, optical and working condition,etc...), I pass.

That, and a return policy - which does not seem to be the case here.
