I have this partial enlarger.
I don't really need it but if the missing part is an easy find I might want to finish it up. If not I will just offer parts for super cheap.

Missing the neg carrier.
Is there a handle/lever to lower the lamp housing?

You are missing the cylinder along with two condensers and corrugated spacer that are a must have for this to function. You will also need something to carry the lenses, either a specific cone or turret. I have an extra three lens turret for cheap, but you will still need cones. Oh, and do you have the third condenser in the upper housing? That is a must have also.

The lens holder is there, its just closed. No chrome cylinder though. What's inside that?

As Rick said, the condenser lenses (2).

The chrome or aluminum cylinder in the original series of Omega D-II and D-2 contains two face-to-face Condenser Lenses.

There are a series of these cylinders, 4x5 the entire cylinder is practically filled with glass. Then for smaller formats, there are some with cans inside that have smaller and smaller pairs of Condenser Lenses.

But wait, your top housing has the Universal Condenser - so your bottom cylinder, Rick A: what's inside? Just the bottom big glass lens facing up?

trythis: Inside the trap door, you have a lens in a tray, right (right you answered that already the lens is there)?

The part should be an easy find... Or you might get that part along with an Aristo Cold Light unit (or a Zone VI Stabilized Cold Light). Start cleaning it up.

I have the lens that moves in the universal box. I also have some other lenses and cylinders but non are aluminum. I think they are beseler but I will try them.

For the Pro-Lab, the aluminum cylinder houses two condensers face to face(corrugated spacer between), and a third movable condenser is housed in the upper chamber and is in a frame that slides in to adjust (see pic 1)on specific slots.

Thanks Rick A,

Do the two lenses beneath completely fill the cylinder? Are they the standard 4x5? Or are they different magnification, differently spaced than the old "4x5 only" condenser set? (Do you have anything to compare it with)?

PDF of the manual with instructions for the newer condenser head you have: http://gallery44.org/sites/default/files/Omega Enlarger Manual.pdf

You chassis looks like a D-2 and it originally came with a non-variable condenser with an option of 3 condenser sets:
6 1/2", 4 11/16" and 3 1/2".

If I were you, I'd seek the condenser set that goes with your more modern head. So look for 472-023 6½" Double Condenser Lens set
You may have them, the condenser cylinder that came with that head will likely be BLACK instead of bare aluminum.

By the way that will be a fantastic enlarger when you get it working.

I think I have the same. It's a spare I picked up cheaply.
Ill get it functional eventually so as to have 2 4x5's side by side.

Also have this:

I don't have any holders for the omega but quite a few for the beseler.

The Omega is a DV if that's useful

You just need a negative carrier.

Wow, two colour heads! Those are convenient for multi grade printing. Just dial in the contrast.

The 4x5 Beseler is my main enlarger. The colour head I had stopped working so I switched to a condenser head.

Yes, both lenses completely fill the cylinder with minimal gap.

Yes and both heads work except the led numbers are all missing portions. On the mounted one they each can display only a "6" instead of an "8" for every single number.

Neg carrier for D2 are plentiful. If you hang around in classified section of this forum, you'll see them on regular basis.
