Maybe one day. I've got a Canon in my bag for now.

Wow. That wording worked out well. Great for this thread too.

Still looking for a good bag to carry it all in. I'm looking at the sling bag that holds 2 slrs with lens on the ready. I am having trouble justifying the cost to my DH though!

-Lori

It should be easy for a woman-usually when she says she needs a new bag he thinks handbag and his eyes glaze over, hoping he won't have to hear what it looks like or where she's getting it. So just skip any details and just say you need a new bag.

Some of those uses for condoms seem a bit of a stretch. Oh and there's one more-balloons for the kiddies!

No camera at all anymore. It, a small Tamrac, was formally used to for carrying a small 35mm kit, but has since been repurposed as a carrier for 4x5 holders. It will hold a dozen holders and misc. items (notepad, pencil, etc.) in pockets.

I either bring an ME Super + 50/1.7 with me to work, or my F5 with one attached lense.

If I bring my main photo bag it contains:

Film
F5
105/2.5 AI-s
50/1.2 AI-s
50/1.8D
16/2.8D Fisheye
SB-600

I've got a few setups. 2 small bags, one with a Nikon 8008s with a 35-135 zoom and a yellow filter and one with a Nikon 6006 with a 24mm. I usually have Tri-X and Provia in both bags.

Then lately I have been shooting with Calumet CC-400 with a 210mm Symmar convertible and a 135mm Zeiss Tessar, Gossen Luna Pro SBC, film, holders, loupe, dark cloth, changing bag, etc. The coolest thing about the camera is the case, which is the deluxe aluminum case. I have everything in the case and ready to go. I often leave the setup in the trunk. I have a Sinar Aplina which is a great camera, but the Calumet was cheap and makes a great car camera. What I really need is an old beat up tripod, since I don't like leaving my carbon fiber Gitzo in the car.

Usually one F3 with a 35mm f1.4 and a 50mm f1.4 or a 24mm f2 . Sometimes a light meter is in the Domke.
My other bag is an old WW2 canvas bag and it usually has one beat up F3 with a 28-70 mm on it. Less is more.
Extra rolls of Tri X, but not too many.

Lately it's been an F100 with 28 f/2.8, a Bronica ETRS with 75 f/2.8, a couple rolls of Velvia and Acros 100.

(Yes the two are DX glass, carryovers from my D40, but I can't afford new glass at the moment and I rather like their vignetting effects. They also don't vignette at the long end)
Spare film
Lens tissue
Reciprocity chart for Ilford Pan-F, HP5+, and FP4+
Sharpie for making notes on canisters
Spare piece of film (for leader extraction via licking)
Really crappy grad ND filter

All in a small blue lunch cooler.

I don't even have a camera bag. I have an old .50 cal. ammo can with a darkcloth, light meter, loupe, film holders, filters, cable releases, and a lens cloth, that I take with me when I shoot with my LF. I have a roll of Tri-x and a roll of 400VC both in 120 in my night stand for my mamiya 7.

removed-user-1

I have one bag that's always ready to go: the Domke F4 bag which holds the RB67 with 65mm and 127mm lenses. Most of my 35mm and digital stuff moves around my office space as needed but the RB is always packed, and the tripod is always waiting in the trunk of the car.

Depends what I'm doing.

Usually, I've got a Pelican #1510 with three camera bodies and a few lenses. 85mm f1,4 Zeiss is on one camera, a 24-70 f2,8 Canon L is on another. The third body is a backup. I also have a couple of other bags for film stuff!

I have separate bags for lighting, reflectors and stands.

Usually I have two camera bodies on me at all times.

I only use off-camera flashes firing them with Pocket Wizards.

Sometimes I will bring my MacBook if the clients opts to have wedding day photos at the reception or if they are going on a plane then upload some to view during the journey for the Honeymoon.

Also I take Hasselblad and some film (always B&W) to make for my clients.

Hope this helps you.

My most recent setup is a Speed Graphic, with 8 film holder, loupe, light meter, spare battery for light meter, stop watch, cable release, lens tissue and cleaner, soft lens brush, note pad, small folding diffusion panel, BTZS focus cloth, thinsulate gloves, two Mini Maglite flash lights, Pencil, pen, eraser, utility knife, Sharpie, Yellow filter, 3 foot tape measure, bellow extension cheat sheet (I'm actually going to add that now since it's gone missing).

This is all in a Tenba case that I originally bought for my 35mm equipment. The tripod is in another case, both of which have shoulder straps and can be carried moderate distance comfortably. I am thinking about a Photo backpack so I could carry the equipment longer distances.
