What's in my TLR!?

I recall those stick on reminders but don't know if they are still made.

My bigger problem is using unboxed film and not having a box end to stick in my M645 or 35mm cameras. I use a box end from another box, and if it's a different type I write the type on the back and insert it back side out. I find I always (well, pretty much) remember what's in my TLR because I only have one TLR and it doesn't of course have interchangeable backs. I have a terrible time remembering what's in which 645 back (because they look identical) or what film I put in which 35mm body without those things.

The bigger issue for me (since I don't get the film developed right away) is to remember which camera I used.

I tried the stick-on plastic reminders but they fall off after a few weeks of use. Notebooks, (paper, not computer) work for me.

Camera is easy for me to determine. I have three ways to shoot 120 film - Yashicamat 124 in 6x6, M645 Pro in 645, and roll film back for my 4x5, in 6x7. Negative size tells me definitively which it was shot in, at least for now.

An old trick is to tear and fold the end of the box and put it into the flash shoe.

Twist tie box lid (punch whole or make hole with tool) to camera strap or, if no strap, to the camera lug where the strap goes. If in the way when shooting, take it off until done shooting.

If I don't have time to put a piece of masking tape on the back and write the name of the film, I usually either keep the box or wrapper in my wallet. Plus the boxes have some cool info on them which make for great bathroom reading.

WideLux does not have a flash shoe.

Nope. I'd use that to mount a spirit level ... the second most important thing the 67 does not have...

Note that the keyrings also come in glow-in-the-dark versions if you are fond of lighting up in dim light.

When I shot my Rollei a lot it was not a problem, film wasn't in long enough for me to forget what it was and the Gossen was always set to the right ISO. Now that I'm older, shooting a Blad with a couple of backs, and film rolls don't come in a box anymore, it is more of a problem. Worse with 4x5, just the other night I ran a couple of sheets of E6 threw some Xtol. I think I need to hire a lovely assistant to help me solve the problem but the wife says its not gonna happen.

You can at least tell if it's loaded by looking at the counter! I also leave one of the spool knobs poking out when there's no film in it.
