What's a good, cheap printer for 8x10 digital negatives?

A follow up question on the above. Could you elaborate on how this is done? I played around with QTR in the earlier days (2008'ish) and it was a mess! I couldn't understand how to apply Ron Reeder's methods (from his essays). I'm considering picking up a copy of his ebook.

maybe this will helpif the file is not too big again.:sad:
 
Get your self on eBay and by a Epson 2200. You should be able to get it for $150-250. I have made negs up to 12x16 on it. I do platinum negatives. Pro printer at a cheap print.

2200 is about as old of a big printer you want. if you want good negatives you cant go cheap. save your money and get a good printer. I spent $2400 for my printer, but i can do 4 color gum negatives ,platinum negatives up to 16 x20.
I tried everyone's way of making negatives and it just did not work so I went by eye and made them look like my film negatives and it seems to work great. but everyone is different so that is just time to work it out for yourself :smile:
