I agree, you're only going to regret it if you sell one or all of them. That's a versatile kit, I don't think I'd sell a single thing.

Keep it now. You got it while you are single. When you get divorced, you will not have to sell it to split the community property.

I have 50, 60,100,150,250 and two bodies. If I keep one lens, I will keep the 100mm. Sell all your lenses and get a 100. It's best.

If you meant me (i'm assuming, since i was quoted), hold on a moment.

I was just musing (in amused bewilderment) over the "at your time of life" advice.
Repeating it to see if when saying it out loud, it would make sense.

I mean, even ignoring MF, the thought to tell anyone he/she needs a Minolta would not even enter my mind.



I think the OP should keep as much of his kit as possible.
You have what you have. And don't need anything else.
So unless it is absolutely impossible, hang on to all of the lenses at least.
The second body is redundant, and could go. The teleconverter too is of little or no use. But you will not get anything for it.

I own that exact same line-up. The only way I could trim it down would be to part with the 150 keeping the 120. But as has allready been pointed out this is certainly a most basic set-up which no doubt you will regret parting with, in the future. You did well, learn it and enjoy it!

Based on your comments you sound like a single-tasker to me, so let me give you some hard earned life advice. If you have a hard time keeping your mind on your college classes then a camera is not going to help you at all. You first need to decide if your current course of study is important for your plans in life and if it is then sell the whole kit-and-caboodle and buckle down with the books. There will be plenty of time later in life for photography. However, if you're set on a study of photography then the equipment you choose to use will grow out of the program you select to study not the other way around. If instead, you want to go out on your own then the thing to do is to do just that; try out the whole kit and keep the parts that fit with your style of work or move on to something else.
